Roadworks: Week of November 19 to 23

Staff and public are asked to use the Byrne Road entrance when accessing Stanton Territorial Hospital by vehicle. Right-hand turns are no longer permitted at the stop sign on Range Lake Road beside Trevor’s Independent Grocer, and we ask that vehicles do not loop around Emergency entrance to access the parking lot. We thank you for your understanding during this period of adjustment.

More than 300 parking stalls are now available for staff and public use at Stanton. We ask that staff refrain from parking at Trevor’s Independent Grocer going forward; vehicles parked for long periods of time in Trevor’s lot will be subject to towing. Please see the map on page 2 for more available parking areas closest to the hospital.

Boreal Health Partnership staff continues to work closely with the City of Yellowknife and the Yellowknife Fire Department to ensure emergency access to the hospital is maintained. We would also like to thank Trevor’s Independent Grocer for being a gracious partner to the project.

Regular road closure updates will be provided weekly to staff and public. We thank you for your ongoing patience with the construction required for the Stanton Renewal Project and for helping us keep patients informed. We will continue to build improvements with as little disruption to existing services as possible.
